Surati LOCHO !!







Ingredients :

(Section A)
3 cup of Chana daal
1 cup of urad daal
1 cup of poha
Green chilli paste

Turmeric powder
salt to taste
eno

(Section B)
2 onions
1/2 tsp chilli powder
2-3 drops of oil

sale to taste
2-3 drops of lemon juice


Directions :
1)Soak all the Daal's for 2-3 hours in the evening and then grind it in the night.
2)While grinding add washed 1 cup of poha.

3)Keep the mix overnight to ferment

4)Next morning take 2-3 soup spoons of batter add salt, green chilli paste according to taste.
Add pinch of Turmeric powder and eno and mix it well(while mixing please rotate the spoon in one direction only)

5)Take a deep vessel and apply oil so that the batter does not stick to it.Pour the batter into the vessel and sprinkle some black pepper.
6)In a pressure cooker add some water and keep the vessel in it.

7)Cover the cooker with the lid without whistle attached to it.
8)Steam it for 10 minutes(put a knife in the batter to check if it is cooked i.e not sticking to much to the knife).

Serve it with spiced onion(mix all the ingredients mentioned in Section B) and sev.
